Our client is an award-winning UK law firm with regional UK offices. They are seeking up to 2 Associates to join them in their Environment Health & Safety team in their London office.
The role requires you to have already developed a level of specialism in matters relating to environmental, health and safety law including product liability law. The team also provides a regulatory and compliance service that includes elements of:
- ESG reporting
- civil and criminal litigation defence
- licensing
- providing transactional support to other teams in the office such as for the Energy Team and/or the Real Estate & Planning Team as and when required.
You will have the following qualifications:
- Have trained and qualified with a City or other reputable national firm
- Be admitted as a Solicitor in England & Wales with Rights to Stay
- Some experience in regulatory advice on licensing/permitting, contaminated land and air emissions including climate change, criminal prosecutions, judicial review and/or civil claims.
- Some experience in energy and infrastructure projects
